Call up Segway South Beach to make an appointment for a scenic and fun 7 mile Segway Tour. (We have many Segway rental places listed in our Attractions sections. They have varying have age requirements and prices, so feel free to check out which site works for you. Segway South Beach is a good option since the age limit is not too high; it is six and up). 

Lunch: Lenny’s Pizza – estimated 7-10 minute drive back from Segway South Beach

Activity 2 (1+ hours): Duck Tours – estimated 7-10 minute drive from Lenny’s Pizza

Call before to rent your boat ride – an exciting boat tour that goes from land straight into the water.

Dinner: Backyard BBQ – estimated 20-25 minute drive from Duck Tours

Activity 1 (1+ hour): MB Scooter Rental – Jet Ski Rentals – estimated 7-10 minute drive from Tasty Beach Cafe

Call up Jet Ski Rentals to book an hour of Jet Skiing. There is no age limit to ride with an adult, and 18 and up to drive alone. Bring your licenses, and a change of clothes.

Lunch: Seventeen Restaurant South Beach – estimated 5 minute drive from Jet Ski Rentals 

They offer sushi, pasta, salads, blended coffees, and more. 

Activity 2 (1+ hour): Lincoln Road Mall / The Frieze Ice Cream (Local walk)

Walk around the beautiful outdoor Lincoln Road Mall. Next, head to the Frieze Ice cream. They have some very unique sorbet flavors, including chocolate, peanut butter, and champagne. 

Dinner:  Grill House Miami – estimated 7-10 minute drive from Lincoln Road Mall. 

Evening Activity (1+ hours):  Jungle Island Light Show / Luminosa (October – February) – estimated 15-20 minute drive

Bowlero (March – September) – estimated 25-30 minute drive

A high class bowling experience the whole family will enjoy.

Rainy Day Itinerary for Families of all Ages – Miami Beach

Breakfast / Buy Lunch: Bagel Time – Local drive or walk 

Head to Bagel Time for a family friendly breakfast. They have an extensive menu from pancakes to bagels, salads, omelettes, pastries and muffins. They offer smoothies, frappuccinos, and all kinds of coffee for the adults. Since you’ll be heading out to the Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and then to Fun Dimensions, order easy-to-bring lunches for a picnic lunch at the museum, like bagels and bottled drinks. 

Activity 1 (2+ hours): Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science – estimated 10-15 minute drive from Bagel Time. 

They have entertaining and educational exhibits, a huge Planetarium with a 3-D Imax, a 3-level aquarium with sharks, stingrays, and more. On the roof, which is covered, there are spectacular views, a stingray petting station, and some more interactive exhibits. Find a picnic bench to stop and eat lunch. 

Activity 2 (2+ hours): Fun Dimensions – estimated 8-10 minute drive from the Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science.

Indoor bumper cars, laser tag, an obstacle course, and arcade games.

Dinner: Pita Loca – estimated 15 minute drive from Fun Dimensions. 

Pita Loca is on Prairie Avenue, right off of 41st street.
