Breakfast / Buy Lunch: Bagel Time – Local drive or walk
Head to Bagel Time for a family friendly breakfast. They have an extensive menu from pancakes to bagels, salads, omelettes, pastries and muffins. They offer smoothies, frappuccinos, and all kinds of coffee for the adults. Since you’ll be heading out to the Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and then to Fun Dimensions, order easy-to-bring lunches for a picnic lunch at the museum, like bagels and bottled drinks.
Activity 1 (2+ hours): Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science – estimated 10-15 minute drive from Bagel Time.
They have entertaining and educational exhibits, a huge Planetarium with a 3-D Imax, a 3-level aquarium with sharks, stingrays, and more. On the roof, which is covered, there are spectacular views, a stingray petting station, and some more interactive exhibits. Find a picnic bench to stop and eat lunch.
Activity 2 (2+ hours): Fun Dimensions – estimated 8-10 minute drive from the Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science.
Indoor bumper cars, laser tag, an obstacle course, and arcade games.
Dinner: Pita Loca – estimated 15 minute drive from Fun Dimensions.
